The night is still young, but Belle is in bed already, and yet, she hasn’t rested her eyes, cause she has these problems and lots to think about. Especially of what happened back in her old days.
Back in Junior High, her parents got divorced. The only reason her mom filed a divorce from her dad was because her dad was jobless. Belle’s mom is known as a senior secretary at one of a well-known companies in town. Rumor has it, that her mom was also having an affair with one of her superior’s.
The only escape moment for Belle at that moment is to find as many boyfriends as she can, but with one condition, he, has to be someone else’s boyfriend. She won’t even budge to consider you as a friend if you’re single.
She, has this issue, whenever she knew some friend around her has a boyfriend. She would passionately snatched the boyfriend to be hers and ruin the friendship.
That’s when the problem began to become her long time issue. Even in her 30’s, she still has these issues.
What’s bulging in her mind right now, is how to escape the consequences, the wife of her boyfriend had called her office. She called HR to report that Belle was her husband’s mistress.
Belle herself is working at her mom’s former company, let alone the nepotism, she gained her career from a marketing staff to an assistant manager, by dating her manager in office, — a married man.
Belle has to save her job, she remembers well. Previously, she hardly could get a proper job. She works on shifts as a shopkeeper in one of the downtown stores’ basements. Monday to Sunday, long shift, shitty wage. She hardly could have finished her college degree back then.
Now, when her old habit became her problem, the only way out was to runaway from town. Eventually, the office has this policy. They’ll close the case and keep her in the company as long as she agrees upon her mutation to other cities. They say, the mutation will only take up to two months until everyone forgets the scandal.
She wasn’t prepared for this, but she’s not the one who can decide. She hasn’t packed up yet, she confused, cause she never gets caught in a situation like this. All that she knows, is, tomorrow morning, she’ll have to take a taxi straight to the airport, going miles, away from the city.
